Join the waiting list

Sometimes a person who has booked for a speed-date becomes ill, and cannot attend at the last minute. If that happens and if we have any names of the appropriate sex on our waiting list, we will contact them on the evening itself and invite them to take part.

To be on the waiting list you must send us an email, stating:

  • Your full name
  • Whether you are male or female
  • Your telephone or mobile number - without this, you cannot be placed
    on the list!
  • Which evening(s) you are available to attend. If it is both evenings,
    state that.

A condition of being on the waiting list is that you must be willing to be in the town centre between 18:45 and 19:30 on the evenings you have chosen (i.e. close enough to Samfundet to get there within 10 minutes). We will call you, if a space suddenly becomes available. There are no guarantees… but you may be lucky.

Please do not turn up at Café Lyche “just in case” – if you have not been called, that means there are no spaces free.

If after joining the waiting list, you decide that you do not wish to attend the speed-date after all, please email us and tell us. The waiting list system cannot function properly if everyone on it has changed their mind and is unavailable!
